Various developers are giving away free codes for their Wii U and 3DS games on Twitter and possibly other parts of the Internet as well. The 3DS and Wii U eShops are no longer allowing purchases or downloads of free items like demos, but it turns out that you can actually still get some free games from independent developers on your WiiU and 3DS. Gamers can no longer redeem any of their codes for 3DS and Wii U games on the Nintendo eShop if they have not done so already. As the Nintendo eShop shutdown draws closer, gamers are scrambling to redeem any unused codes before they become obsolete.
